Our “Bed and Breakfast”, “La
pilozza infiorata”, is situated in the magnificent historical centre of
Caltagirone, visited and loved by tourists all over the world. Near to the
principal square of the town, to the very famous “Santa Maria del Monte’s
Ladder” and to the other touristical resources that the place offers,
building of Giacomo e Agnese predominates above the others.
Dated back about in the
middle of the XIX century, it has got a great historical and artistical
value in “Liberty Style”. It owned to one of the most prestigious families
of the town, but also known all over Sicily, and moreover because of the
artistical heritage that the best known “Vaccaro” family (sculptors) gave to
the town, which principal works of art are keeped and protected by the
“Regional Museum of Ceramics” in Caltagirone.
Giacomo e Agnese have decided
to restore the building preserving carefully its style , elegance and
relaxing atmosphere.Their friendly and lively nature moved them to open the
door of their house to all people looking for a comfortable accomodation. |
