THE
ROOMS
The customers can choose
among 48 rooms and suites, situated in the old Borbonic Tower as well as in
a new building, all painted with warm colors of sober Mediterranean
elegance.
Some suites of the Borbonic
Tower are arranged in two levels and are furnished with old furniture.
All rooms and suites in the Borbonic Tower enjoy a spectacular view on sea
whereas most of the rooms of the new building face Ponza's bay, the ruins of
the Villa of Augusto and the orchards and vineyards.
CONGRESSES AND MEETINGS
The Hotel Torre dei Borboni
is the ideal place to arrange professional meetings, in an alternative and
pictoresque environment. The two congress rooms, with all technical
equipments, can host up to 150 people, and can be used jointly. |

GEOGRAPHICAL HINTS
The Island of Ponza is eighteen sea miles from Capo Circeo, between
the parallel 40° 54' 30" N lat. - and the meridian 12° 55' 0" long.
E of
Greenwich
. The Island forms part of the archipelago "Ponziano", which
includes also the islands of Palmarola, Zannone, Gavi, Ventotene and
S. Stefano but only Ponza and Ventotene are inhabited. The Island of
Ponza has an area of approx. 7,37 km2, a length of 7.350 m and a
width between 200 and 2,300 m.
The Island is of volcanic origin with mountain-like aspects. The
maximum heigth is 280 m (Guardia Mount). The vegetation is tipically
Mediterranean, emerald-green. During May and June the island is
covered with the yellow of the flowering brooms
The climate
Ponza's climate is Mediterranean as well. Temperatures fluctuates
from 8° in January-February to 28C°-30C° in August.

How to reach Ponza
The Island of Ponza can be reached:
- by means of an hydrofoil from Formia and Anzio,
- with the ferries from Formia, Anzio and Terracina,
- with high-speed ships from Circeo and Napoli.
